Powers has joined Lincoln Financial Group as Vice President, Defined Contribution Strategy. Reporting to Duane Bernt, Head of Finance and Strategy for the Defined Contribution business, Powers will lead the efforts for the company's overall Defined Contribution strategy, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and growth opportunities.

Powers joins Lincoln with more than 20 years experience in the retirement plan industry.  Prior to this role, he was Division Vice President at UNIFI Companies Retirement Plans. During his tenure, he managed areas of sales, marketing, finance, actuarial, distribution management, field service, project management, systems and quality control.  Prior to UNIFI, Drew held positions with Scudder, Kemper and Aetna. He is a board member for the SPARK Institute and currently holds memberships with the LIMRA Pension Committee, the Innovation & Growth Forum for the Spectrum Group and the RRI Steering Committee.
