Prior to his appointment at Sunset Group, Spicer was chief operating officer and corporate executive officer at Mindsurf Networks, a Sylvan Learning Systems company. Before joining Mindsurf in 2000, Spicer was a chief technology officer of the private client division at Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch, he was responsible for significant technology advances including development of Merrill's first online trading offering to clients.
Spicer says as he familiarizes himself with daily operations, he plans to focus his energies on execution. "My mission is to enhance our ability to deliver services to our clients while continuing to encourage the amazing culture of innovation that already exists at TAN," says Spicer.
