AngelPad Funded Storie Reaches 100K Downloads of iPhone App in First Month

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Storie, the new iPhone app and social network that lets people create and share photo narratives, today announced that it reached 100,000 downloads within the first month of launch. The company also announced 'Stories Near Me,' a new geo-location feature that lets people share and discover stories about the places around them.

Stories can be shared within Storie's rapidly growing community, or posted to other social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr), emailed and texted, and embedded on blogs and websites. The community has found thousands of unique and often poignant stories to tell:

The new 'Stories Near Me' feature further expands upon these possibilities by enabling anyone with an iPhone to create photo tours of their favorite places and leave them as "breadcrumbs" for others to discover.
