With account syncing and longer videos, the popular iPhone app completes its arsenal of on-the-go video creation tools in Version 2.0
Animoto Videos 2.0 now lets iPhone and iPod touch users link their devices directly to their accounts at Animoto.com, with the ability to synchronize their videos for playback in either location. Videos created on Animoto.com are instantly sync'd to the iPhone app, so whether creating a video on the desktop computer or on a mobile device, accounts will be linked to give users access to all of their videos in one place, any time, anywhere. iPhone and iPod touch users now also have the ability to save Animoto videos on their device for offline viewing, eliminating the need for an Internet connection to watch videos. Further, paying users are no longer limited to 30-second videos within the mobile application.

Free to download from the iTunes
To create a video with the Animoto iPhone app, users select photos on their device, pick a song from Animoto's music collection, and Animoto takes care of the rest, returning a unique video orchestration with the visual energy of a music video and the emotional impact of a movie trailer. Users can then remix their video into a wholly new piece or add it to their collection and start another one. The Animoto Videos 2.0 application is now available for download in the iTunes App store. The heart of Animoto is its Cinematic Artificial Intelligence(R) technology that thinks like an actual director and editor using the same sophisticated post-production skills and techniques that are used in television and film. The technology takes into account every nuance of a song: the genre, song structure, energy, rhythm, instrumentation, and vocals. No two videos are ever the same; even videos generated with an identical set of images and music will each have a completely distinct set of motion design. Videos are produced in widescreen format to utilize the full iPhone and iPod touch screen and can easily be shared through email.
