operates 250 stores in 20 states has announced temporary closures of all
seven of their San Diego stores due to the wild fire evacuations in the
area. A toll-free number, (866) 766-8200, has been established for
Associates and their families to call in for the latest information.
Displaced employees in need of assistance are encouraged to call this
toll-free number for assistance.
Company leadership has been closely monitoring the progress of the fire
fighting efforts and keeping communication lines open with the field staff
in and around San Diego County. "Our number one concern is for the safety
of our associates," said Chief Operating Officer Scott Gladstone. "As a
family oriented business, all of our Associates, especially those in the
affected areas, are important to us."
There have been no reported injuries or structural damage to any of the
Anna's Linens stores, however many Associates have been displaced from
their homes. "We are doing everything we can to make sure our Associates
find appropriate housing, and that their needs are met," stated Gladstone.
Management will be monitoring the situation on a day by day basis to
determine when stores will begin to open for business.
