Anna's Linens to Open in Fresno

    SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Anna's Linens, with 68 stores
 in 5 states will open at Wine Press Shopping Center at 3080 W. Shaw in Fresno
 this Thursday, November 15th at 10 a.m.  The 10,000 square foot store will be
 the first Anna's Linens in central California.  "We are very excited to be
 opening here in Fresno and see lots of opportunity for growth," said Alan
 Gladstone, President and CEO.  "This will be a new vital market for us."
     Anna's Linens offers an assortment of soft home furnishings, including
 sheets, bedding, towels, bath accessories, tabletop, decorative accessories,
 window coverings, and related items at guaranteed low prices.
     A special ribbon cutting will begin at 9:30 a.m.  The first 100 customers
 will receive a $10 savings certificate on a minimum purchase of $20 and there
 will be special merchandise offerings and savings the weekend of the opening.
     Gladstone said that Anna's currently operates 68 stores with the majority
 located in California. The firm also operates stores in Washington, Texas and
 Louisiana and recently opened 2 stores in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The chain is
 named after Gladstone's mother, who often travels on behalf of the company
 welcoming customers and working with sales associates.
