That new team, which also includes law clerk Rebecca Bolour, worked together at Trope & Trope before branching off over the summer to form Kiley Dunlap. During that time, the three worked out of Elkins Kalt's Century City offices, where Kiley found that being among experts in wills, trusts and estate plans, tax, real estate, corporate and partnership law and business litigation enabled her to provide more comprehensive service than at a traditional boutique, family law practice.
"Having such great access to partners whose expertise is in other areas of the law enables me to take a creative approach to family law," said Kiley, also an adjunct family law professor at USC's Gould School of Law. "There will be no case that is too big, too small or too complicated. Ultimately, it leads to better service for the clients."
Kiley, a family lawyer for over 25 years, has been a Certified Family Law Specialist since 2001, and is an Order of the Coif graduate of University of Michigan Law School.
Dunlap, an Order of the Coif graduate of UCLA School of Law, has been a family law practitioner for over 30 years and, as a Certified Appellate Specialist for over 16 years, has won many high profile victories. Dunlap also sits on the LACBA's State Appellate Judicial Evaluation Committee and volunteers for the association as a fee arbitrator. He also has authored articles for a variety of legal journals and publications.
