ALLENTOWN, Pa., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL) has set the date of the company's annual meeting of shareowners for Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at the Holiday Inn in Fogelsville, Pa., in Lehigh County. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. EDT.

The company also announced that the annual meeting of shareowners of PPL Electric Utilities Corporation, a subsidiary of PPL Corporation, will be held at 9 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the offices of PPL Electric Utilities Corporation in downtown Allentown, Pa.
