SAN DIEGO, Feb. 17, 2012  /PRNewswire/ -- The qualifications and experience of Dr. Stephen Doyne as a forensic psychologist were strongly affirmed by the Fourth District Appellate Court on February 10, 2012. A challenge to the 2009 dismissed false credentials lawsuit against the San Diego-based psychologist was unanimously ruled out with strong conviction by the Court who also provided validation to his credentials and experience in the ruling. (Cal. 4th Dist. Ct. of App. Case No. D057480)

In its unanimous decision, the Appellate Court noted "the undisputed record shows that Dr. Doyne was fully qualified to serve as a custody evaluator based upon his professional credentials and experience that have never been challenged in this action." (Id. at p. 39.)

Pursuant to statutory law, the Appellate Court ruled that the psychologist will also be entitled to have the plaintiff reimburse his attorney's fees which are expected to exceed six figures.
