CINCINNATI, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- On Sunday, October 13, 2013, world-renowned glass artist Bob Snodgrass will be appearing at The Cupboard for a free meet and greet from 1:00PM until 2:30PM. Shortly after, Snodgrass will be appearing at a ticketed, charity event from 3:00PM until 6:30PM at Bogart's for a glassblowing demonstration, question and answer session, and screening of the popular documentary Degenerate Art. Bob Snodgrass is considered to be the "Godfather of Artistic Glass" and has been blowing glass since 1971 in his home state of Ohio. This event will be a rare opportunity for people in the Cincinnati region to meet the glassblowing legend, since he now resides and works in Eugene, Oregon.
Snodgrass' work has been featured in museums worldwide, including the National Museum of Rome, the Art Institute of Chicago, and locally at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. Many of Snodgrass' contemporary pieces are also featured for purchase at The Cupboard.
