ASC seeks to reciprocate bans against JV Raleigh Superior Holdings, Maisie Smith (a.k.a Maizie Smith) and Ingram Jeffrey Eshun
CALGARY, March 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) staff are seeking to reciprocate an order imposed by the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) against JV Raleigh Superior Holdings Inc., Maisie Smith (a.k.a Maizie Smith ) and Ingram Jeffrey Eshun .
On December 24, 2012, the BCSC ordered that Eshun and Smith, among other things, be permanently banned from becoming an officer or director of any issuer, trading in securities and becoming or acting as a registrant or promoter. The BCSC also ordered that all trading in or purchasing of JV Raleigh Superior Holdings securities permanently cease.
The ASC seeks reciprocation of the BCSC order to protect Alberta investors and the Alberta capital market.
It is anticipated that the ASC panel will consider this application in March or April 2013.
