Ascension Insurance, Inc. Announces New Branding The company transitions to a single brand identity and launches updated corporate website

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascension Insurance, Inc. announced today the launch of its new corporate website, www.ascensionins.com, as well as its new logo and brand identity.

This rebranding effort follows a period of expansion for the company over the past three years, in which several acquisitions of smaller, successful brokerage firms were completed. Ascension's President and CEO, Joe Tatum, remarked, "We may have started as several independent firms with their own unique identities, but we now want to fully embrace the idea that we are one Ascension." Except for during a short transition period, all business units will now use the new Ascension logo and branding.

For its new logo, the company chose a bold orange to symbolize its difference from others in the industry, and changed its symbol and typeface to a more modern look and feel. "We are taking the opportunity to strengthen and modernize how we represent ourselves to our clients, our people, and the communities we serve," said Tatum.

In addition to the new visual identity, the company has adopted the tagline "Changing the way people think about insurance," an idea central to its brand. "Our goal is to demonstrate how we are unique in our approach to insurance, by focusing on the niche industries we serve and truly understanding our client's world," commented Tatum. "In fact, we are even more committed to providing the exceptional service and solutions our clients have come to rely on, because that is what Ascension is all about. While it's changing its look, the company's ownership has not changed. Said Tatum, "We are still the same great company, same ownership, but now with much better branding."
