ASD Pipe Router now integrates with Intergraph CADWorx

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 21, 2012, /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Intergraph and ASD announced today they have completed integration between their CADworx and Pipe Router products, respectively. This integration brings the value of 3D interference-free automated piping design to the CADWorx plant design platform.

ASD's Pipe Router is a tool for piping designers to build 3D models more effectively and with higher quality by leveraging a comprehensive knowledge base. ASD Pipe Router can read the CADWorx equipment and structures and assist designers to rapidly develop a 3D piping model. In today's project environment of short schedules, multiple changes and junior designers, the capability to incorporate changes automatically and rapidly design pipe based on a standards that can be applied by all, becomes a necessity.
