ASI Expands Its Facility to Meet Customer Needs In an effort to help its customers grow their bottom line, ASI Machine Tool is buying, selling and refurbishing high quality, used CNC machines.
CINCINNATI, Oct. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The company, based in Richwood, KY, has been selling and servicing CNC equipment since 1996. Recently, it expanded its facility to include a 12,000 square-foot showroom that will display dozens of used CNC machinery for sale, ranging from CNC lathes and horizontal or vertical machining centers to boring mills and VTLs.
"Many of our customers choose to buy quality used machines instead of new for multiple reasons," says Toby Frohlich, ASI president. "They demand a quick response time and competitive pricing, so we stock a wide variety of proven, used machines."
The showroom is scheduled to open Oct. 1. Its hours of operation will be weekdays, from 8am to 5pm. An open house is planned Oct. 7-11 and Oct. 14-16, from 8am to 5pm.
The expansion also includes additional floor space for a repair and recondition department. Scheduled to open in November 2013, it will be managed by experienced service engineers during the same hours of operation as the showroom.
"It's difficult to find anyone, anywhere in the country, who can fix CNC machines," adds Frohlich. "Service engineers are a dying breed."
Along with selling and refurbishing new & used machines, ASI also sells parts and offers application support. The company's service engineers are strategically placed in Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, and Kentucky, enabling the company to quickly respond to customer requests for setting up machines, trouble-shooting, or conducting onsite repairs.
However, ASI's reach is global. It receives service requests from machine shops in Canada and South America to recondition their equipment. For these customers, ASI service engineers offer phone support and technical assistance.
"Our sales team offers expertise in helping customers obtain the correct machine for their needs," says Frohlich. "We want to forge long lasting relationships with all of our customers. So offering these value-added services not only allows us to cater to their short- and long-term needs, but also greatly enhances our customers' ability to grow their own business."
