Online memorial commemorates the 25th National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ask.com®, a leading search engine and operating business of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), today invites all Americans to post personal tributes on its homepage honoring loved ones affected by breast cancer. The one-day memorial takeover of the Ask.com homepage is part of the Ask.com Search for the Cure® program and a way to show support to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the world's largest and most progressive grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

The Ask.com homepage will continuously change throughout the day as tributes are added in honor of survivors, those living with breast cancer, and in memory of those lost to the disease. With 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S.,* this special memorial is designed to virtually bring everyone together who have been affected by the disease.

Additionally, the IAC headquarters building in New York City, designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, will be illuminated at dusk in the recognizable pink color of breast cancer awareness, commencing the 25th anniversary of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
