Company Match Brings Total Donation for American Red Cross to More Than $52,000

SYRACUSE, N.Y., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) announced today that the company, its employees and allied Aspen Dental practices would donate more than $52,000 to the American Red Cross as a result of its “An Hour for Haiti” program. “An Hour for Haiti” was a voluntary program launched by ADMI in late January that gave ADMI employees as well as employees of allied Aspen Dental practices the option of donating the equivalent of one hour’s pay to the American Red Cross for Haiti relief and development. Employee donations totaled more than $26,000, an amount that was matched by the company.

Many employees chose to donate even more than one hour's pay," said Robert Fontana, president and CEO of ADMI. "In addition to those who participated in 'An Hour for Haiti,' we know that many of our team members donated to the relief efforts before our program launched. Donations will help the American Red Cross and its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, assist those affected by this disaster. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include deploying personnel, sending relief supplies and providing financial resources.
