New Visual and Column Search Enables Faster SharePoint Document Search

EAST HAMPTON, Mass., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Atalasoft, Inc. today announced the release of Vizit SP 2.0 - The SharePoint Document Viewer. With Vizit SP's 2.0 viewer upgrade, Atalasoft unveiled powerful new search features into their integrated document viewer that give users the ability to quickly search for -- and preview -- documents in SharePoint via indexed and column-based searches.

• Perform a full text search inside the Vizit SP user interface.
• Easily view documents from SharePoint search results via the Vizit Previewer.
• Search column fields on a SharePoint list. Unlike full-text search, column search allows users to search on one or more property fields associated with a SharePoint list.

New features also include web-based scanning and page manipulation, side-by-side document reviewing, and support for more than 200 additional formats with a new rendition server.

Vizit SP works with production capture applications from vendors such as Eastman Kodak and PSIGEN which add high-volume capture for automatic indexing and classification to Vizit SP's zero-footprint indexing, search, editing, viewing, and simple scanning.
