Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority Announces a Group Wedding, Vow Renewal and Civil Union Ceremony at Boardwalk Hall, February 14, 2008

    ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Love is in the air in
 Atlantic City where couples will forego the chapels and head to historic
 Boardwalk Hall on Valentine's Day. The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors
 Authority will host a group wedding, vow renewal and civil union ceremony
 on Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Boardwalk Hall.
 
     "We expect the group ceremony to be a fun event leaving a lasting
 impression for everyone involved," said Jeffrey Vasser, executive director
 of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. "As one of the
 premier destinations in the country with a celebrated history of
 honeymooners, bachelor and bachelorette parties, we are honored to be part
 of a day that promises to be an unforgettable moment for all involved."
 
     The ceremony is free for all couples and their guests, and will be
 performed in the Adrian Phillips Ballroom in Boardwalk Hall at 2 p.m. The
 event will include a wedding cake and photo opportunities. Jean Muchanic,
 executive director of the Absecon Lighthouse and wedding officiate, will
 perform the non-denominational ceremony. Muchanic began officiating
 ceremonies in March of 2007.
