Author releases novel inspired by mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger in time for his eighty-third birthday

QUINCY, Mass. and OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Alison McLennan , a native of Quincy, MA, began her debut novel, Falling for Johnny, two years before the fugitive Whitey Bulger was apprehended. Intrigued by the fact that she once lived across the street from him, she based the fictional character, Johnny McPherson , in Falling for Johnny on James "Whitey" Bulger.
