MIAMI, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Avionica is proud to announce that our satLINK Iridium Communications Gateway provided Iridium communications during the maiden voyage of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Avionica's satLINK was selected by Boeing and fitted in support of the flight test program. Avionica has installed hundreds of Iridium satellite communications systems on Boeing aircraft the world over. Installations include other Boeing fleets such as the 727, 737, 747, 757, and 767. Supplemental Type Certificates are also available for aircraft of other major manufacturers.
