Barry Lundquist Named Interim President of Council for Disability Awareness

In his role as CDA Interim President, Lundquist will leverage his experience in the disability insurance industry and his leadership role as founder of Eastport Marketing Group to review CDA's recent successes and determine how to move the Council forward and better serve the American workforce.
"It is a privilege to help CDA continue to evolve as an important resource for American workers and the disability industry," said Lundquist. "The CDA has accomplished a great deal in the last four years, through research and advocacy of disability awareness, prevention and income protection. I am honored to assist in shaping CDA's next chapter."

The CDA provides the public with a wide array of disability awareness resources through its main Web site, www.disabilitycanhappen.org. The CDA most recently launched an innovative new online tool, www.WhatsMyPDQ.org, which calculates an individual's own unique Personal Disability Quotient (PDQ), or chances of becoming disabled.
