Battle at BallenIsles to Pit PGA and LPGA Tour Pros Against Each Other Saturday, October 13
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh from the 2012 Ryder Cup, Keegan Bradley , PGA Tour Pro and holder of the No. 4 spot in the U.S. will tee off against LPGA Tour Pro, Paige Mackenzie , who began playing golf at the age of 3 and recently made Sports Illustrated's Top 100 list from great tweets she provides about her life on the LPGA Tour.
At stake, The Battle at BallenIsles Trophy and bragging rights to a win in the first golf tournament of its kind on the historic East Course at BallenIsles, where many golf legends originally qualified for the PGA Tour.
The Cleveland Golf Touring Pros will each be teamed with 3 winners of the 2012 BallenIsles Junior Cup in a "Best Ball" format that will include the best ball hit by a Pro and the best ball hit by a Junior.
The highly anticipated event will take place at BallenIsles Country Club on Saturday, October 13 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Golf Exhibition at the driving range followed by a 10:30 AM Tee Time when the 2 Foursomes will compete for the Battle at BallenIsles trophy.
