NOVATO, Calif., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Respected money manager and philanthropist Ken Winans has been selected by the U.S. Navy as one of three civilians for a 35-minute flight in a Blue Angel F/A-18 Hornet supersonic fighter next week. Educators Dale Vigil and Dennis Willeford will join him.

Earlier this year, San Francisco Fleet Week organizers had selected The W Foundation's "Navy in Space" exhibit as a featured event during the 2009 San Francisco Fleet Week festivities in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 and 12 moon landings.
