Behrman Capital Names Neil Sandler Partner
NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Behrman Capital, a
private investment firm focusing on emerging growth companies, today announced
that Neil Sandler has joined the firm as a partner.
Mr. Sandler has more than 15 years of investment banking experience in the
health care industry. During his distinguished career, he has worked on more
than 120 mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. He was most
recently a partner and managing director at BancAmerica Robertson Stephens,
where he oversaw the health care services investment banking group and
assisted Robertson Stephens' venture capital group in identifying and
assessing investment opportunities.
Mr. Sandler's duties at Behrman Capital will include finding and
evaluating potential acquisition candidates and developing new platforms in
the health care sector for the firm's continued expansion. He will also work
with existing portfolio companies to add value and will act as a board member
for new portfolio companies.

Prior to joining BancAmerica Robertson Stephens in 1996, Mr. Sandler
served as managing director at PaineWebber Incorporated, where he was
responsible for all investment banking activities involving health care
services and medical device clients and prospects. During his eight year
tenure at PaineWebber, Mr. Sandler was also a member of the PaineWebber
Development Corporation team, which evaluated and managed venture investments
for a proprietary fund.
Before joining PaineWebber in 1987, Mr. Sandler held investment banking
positions in the health care groups of Drexel Burnham Lambert and Kidder,
Peabody & Co. Mr. Sandler has a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts
University, and a M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Behrman Capital invests in management buyouts of growth companies focused
on the health care, outsourced manufacturing, and information technology
industries, as well as special situations. The firm also provides expansion
capital to emerging growth companies, principally in the health care and high
technology industries.
Based in New York City and San Francisco, Behrman Capital was founded in
