Ben and other South Carolina business and university leaders will meet with key Israeli government officials, visit Israel's major technology business centers and universities, and explore joint opportunities for trade, investment and research.
The South Carolina-Israel Collaboration is a major initiative of Conexx: America Israel Business Connector, the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and South Carolina's research universities, industries, and economic development agencies, and the Israeli government. The Collaboration's mission is to stimulate business and research partnerships between companies and universities in South Carolina and Israel as a way to generate economic development, jobs, and investments to the benefit of all.
The Collaboration is organized by the Conexx: America Israel Business Connector with the grant support of Charleston-based The InterTech Group. The Collaboration's chairman, Jonathan Zucker, is president of InterTech Group, a family-owned company based in Charleston. Mr. Zucker will lead the delegation in January.
