The deliveries of the contract will begin in April and continue until early 2003. The total value of the contract is expected to exceed 20 M euros. The MATRIX safety and security services in RSA have been running since 1996, utilizing fixed car installed systems. Introduction of Benefon Track will provide new flexibility, possibilities and solutions for the customers of MATRIX. The MATRIX system currently offers total service to vehicle owners in South Africa and its 28,000 subscribers include private motorists, courier companies and large fleet operators. Matrix's services include tracking and recovery of stolen vehicles and general fleet management applications.
