GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Berger Group of Companies, a billion dollar engineering firm headquartered in Morristown, NJ, has acquired Ranger International Services Group of Greenville, SC.  Ranger - a 1,000-employee firm providing a variety of aviation, logistics and engineering services both domestically and internationally - will henceforth be known as Louis Berger Services, Inc.

The acquisition is expected to be mutually beneficial. "We seek to increase our capabilities in government operations contracting, overhaul and maintenance, airfield operations and specialized technical services," Nicholas Masucci, CEO of the Berger Group, said. "The strengths and global reach of our large company will greatly complement the capabilities of Ranger International, enabling them to provide enhanced services to clients around the world."
