Billboard Message to Obama and Sarkozy Shows Indifference to Proposal

DETROIT, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- A billboard featuring a giant head as if speaking to President Obama and to President Sarkozy has appeared at W. Eight Miles and Southfield Fwy, in Detroit, one of the hardest hit cities by unemployment in the USA. The message on the billboard calls for the creation of over 2 million permanent jobs and the avoidance of future oil wars. A third message calling for lower global warming levels was omitted from the billboard for brevity of message.

It is expected that this approach be a more effective calling card to the Presidents, given that the proposals submitted to the two leaders were either, ignored by US Officials or were replied to as a matter of courtesy by French Officials. Manny De Angelo, the person behind the billboard, has stated that the proposed project could have helped turn the troubled US economy around by acting as an additional catalyst. Mail delivery confirmation shows that the proposal to Obama's Advisors was submitted on May of 2008, before the US economic meltdown. When asked about the nature of the proposal, De Angelo replied that he has invented a technology that will allow consumers to travel for unlimited miles without the need to re-fuel at gasoline stations, diesel or ethanol nor at electric grid stations, and that fuel - less vehicles will be in high demand by most consumers, worldwide. De Angelo's automobiles are not currently under production, thus his proposals to the two leaders for either one to establish the project.

The intent behind the billboard is to gather support for the proposal from the people of Detroit and the rest of the country. The goal is for the message on the billboard to serve as a key to opening doors for the proposal and for it to receive positive consideration from Washington, D.C. or Paris, France. "I apologize to President Obama and President Sarkozy, for making use of a billboard but my past letters to them were ineffective" . . . "maybe, as a result of this open message - billboard some other country's Officials, in need of solving their unemployment problems, might take a look at my proposal and establish the project in their country instead; making it the sole manufacturer and exporter of this type of automobile to the rest of the world," De Angelo concluded.
