BJ's Wholesale Club to Accept Child Tax Credit Checks as Payment

Members May Use Checks as Currency Towards a BJ's Purchase

    NATICK, Mass., July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BJ's Wholesale Club
 (NYSE:   BJ) will provide Members with the convenience of using their
 government-issued child tax credit checks at BJ's as payment for purchases
 beginning July 25th.
     Starting July 25th, BJ's Members may bring the checks to any of BJ's 144
 locations in the eastern United States.  Members can choose to:
     -- Use them at the register as currency for purchases
     -- Cash the checks at the Membership Services Desk free of charge -- no
       purchase necessary

     The Internal Revenue Service will mail the first checks July 25th, with
