Mar 17, 2008, 01:00 ET from Blackbird Group, Inc.

    SALT LAKE CITY, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainshare 2008 -- The
Blackbird Group today announced it has joined Novell's identity and
security management partner ecosystem. Under the terms of the agreement,
Novell's global sales channel will market and recommend Blackbird's
DeTroubler for their customers' directory backup and recovery needs as part
of Novell's identity and security management framework.
DeTroubler minimizes the productivity and revenue losses that result
from a corrupted or failed directory service by bringing it back online in
a matter of minutes. The software provides immediate, granular online
restoration of both Novell eDirectory and Microsoft Active Directory -- to
address the threat of full-scale disasters and accidental deletions alike
and help ensure the foundation of today's identity management solutions.
"This announcement formalizes our strong relationship with Novell. By
promoting DeTroubler, Novell is able to give their customers the added
value and peace of mind of rapid, yet granular recovery, whether there's a
full scale disaster or a day-to-day problem caused by human error," said
Christian Ehrenthal, CEO at Blackbird Group.
"As more organizations rely on Novell identity and security management
solutions, a robust disaster recovery solution is critical," said Nick
Nikols, vice president of Product Management, Identity and Security at
Novell. "DeTroubler is a complete, powerful, and reliable solution for
eDirectory backup and recovery, and helps secure the underlying identity
 management infrastructure."
The Blackbird Group will be demonstrating DeTroubler at the Blackbird
Booth in the Exhibitor Showcase (booth 503) at Brainshare 2008, from March
16-19 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
