Blue Ridge Mazda Announces Mazda Has Strong February Figures Mazda North American Operations, MNAO, recently reported their best February dating all the way back to 1994 Lee's Summit, Missouri
LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo., March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Blue Ridge Mazda, a Mazda dealer in Lee's Summit, MO, is excited to announce that for the month of February MNAO reported a total of 25,651 vehicles sold. That figure represents a 32 percent increase over last year's numbers and their best month of February going back to 1994. At this point in 2012, MNAO sales are up almost 50 percent on the year with just short of 50,000 vehicles sold.
Leading the charge, with the largest percentage increase, was the Mazda2 tallying a total of 2,701 vehicles sold for the month of February. Gas prices are expected to increase now through summer and the Mazda2 is the perfect vehicle for fuel efficiency. The Mazda6 also got in on the action posting its best month dating back to March 2008. MNAO reports that there were 5,101 6's sold in February, which is an 80% increase over last year.
Mazda's new 2013 Mazda CX-5 recently went on sale at the end of February and racked up 357 total sales. Not bad for being on sale for a week, expect these numbers to jump drastically throughout the rest of 2012.
