Blunt on Democrats' First 100 Hours

    WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- House Republican Whip Roy
 Blunt (Mo.) today issued the following statement on House Democrats' first
 one hundred hours:
     "Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi's historic ascent tomorrow deserves
 considerable applause, but her party's agenda deserves considerable
 scrutiny.
     "House Republicans hope to work in a bipartisan way to fight and win
 the Global War on Terror, support our troops and continue tax policies that
 have led to a robust economy and unprecedented job creation, but House
 Democrats are already demonstrating that they won't live up to their
