Bob Gault Named President and Chief Operating Officer of Universal Orlando

    ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Orlando President and
 Chief Operating Officer Robert K. (Bob) Gault, Jr., who was named to this
 current position on an interim basis in November 2001, will continue in this
 position permanently, it was announced today by Tom Williams, Chairman and
 Chief Executive Officer of Universal Studios Recreations Group.  Prior to this
 current position, Gault was executive vice president, operations planning at
 Universal's world-wide theme parks.
     Gault joined Universal in 1993 after 28 years with Sea World and Busch
 Entertainment.  He was head of the Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as
 CityWalk operations and the Universal City Cinema management in California
 prior to serving as executive vice president of Universal Studios Japan from
 October 1996 to July 2001.  "With over 35 years in this industry, Bob is one
 of the most knowledgeable and respected executives in the theme park
 business," Williams said.  "Bob's talent and experience contributed mightily
 to the record-breaking opening of Universal Studios Japan.  He has already
 made invaluable contributions to our growing Universal Orlando theme parks
 resort and we're very pleased that his leadership and talents will continue to
 do so."
     Gault was among the first employees of Sea World of San Diego, joining the
 theme park in its inaugural 1964 season.  Starting as an operations host, he
 subsequently held CEO posts at Sea World of California, Sea World of Ohio and
 Sea World of Florida.  He also served as Corporate Vice President of
 Operations for the Anheuser-Busch Entertainment Corporation.
     The Universal Orlando resort destination (
 includes two dramatically distinct and adjacent theme parks, the Universal
 Studios motion picture and television theme park and Islands of Adventure,
 Orlando's next generation theme park.  Universal Orlando also includes
