CARLSTADT, N.J., May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Bobker Bearings, a regional
distributor of industrial products, has completed the acquisition of Bobker
Bearing Co., LLC of Fairfield, NJ. The acquisition provides Bobker Bearings
with the addition of three service branches located in Fairfield, NJ, Edison,
NJ, and Easton, PA. The three branches will be merged and operated under
The two companies operated as separate entities since 1946, when at that
time there were two locations located in Newark, NJ and Jersey City, NJ.
Since the separation there has been a geographical 'no-compete' clause.

state of New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, which we will

Bobker Bearings was founded in 1931 in Newark, NJ and was a distributor of
replacement bearings. Today, the company employs over 90 people, throughout
15 service centers in 7 states. The Company distributes industrial products,
including bearings and seals, linear motion products, mechanical drive
products, electrical drive products, material handling products, chemical
maintenance products, and fluid power components. The Company recently
acquired Eifler Electric, which is a full service repair facility of gearboxes
and electric motors. Additionally, the Company provides engineering and
turn-key solutions through its Bobker Integrated Technology Services Division.
