Tony Street of Downtown Dallas' Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse to Prepare Texas Thanksgiving Feast - with a French Twist - for Hundreds Attending French Gala in Dijon

DALLAS, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse Proprietor and Chef Tony Street is taking his love for Texas cuisine to an international stage. Street, nephew of Texas restaurant legend Gene Street, will be cooking a Texas-themed Thanksgiving feast for 300 Gala attendees in Dijon, France at an event honoring Charles Rivkin, U.S. Ambassador to France.

Before Street was even a teenager, he was frying up chicken fried steaks at his uncle's Black-Eyed Pea Restaurant. From that moment on, his love for Texas cuisine and the restaurant industry just kept growing.

"It's a real honor to take my passion for all things Texas over to France," said Tony Street, Proprietor and Chef of Dallas' Y.O. Steakhouse. "I'm really looking forward to showcasing not only the Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse, but also presenting Dallas/Ft. Worth as a culinary capital of the world."

In addition to cooking a Texas-themed Thanksgiving feast for hundreds of Gala attendees at the Mercure Hotel in Dijon, Street will also be cooking 5-course gourmet dinners throughout next week as part of the hotel's Texas Restaurant Week. Dishes Tony will include:

• Filet of Rainbow Trout with a Pecan Crust
• Cream of Pumpkin Soup with truffle oil
• Venison roll-ups
• Roast Quail stuffed with fall fruits
