Alan Wallace, Ph.D., author of "Boundless Heart: The Cultivation of the Four Immeasurables." * June 7, 12:30 p.m.: The Borders store in Boston, Mass., 10-24 School Street, will host Lama Surya Das, the most highly trained American lama in the Tibetan tradition, for a book signing of "Awakening to the Sacred." * June 8, 6 p.m.: The Borders store in New York City, 461 Park Avenue, will host Robert Thurman, co-founder of Tibet House New York and friend of the Dalai Lama for 35 years, for a book signing of "Inner Revolution." * June 14, 6 p.m.: The Borders store in Boston, Mass., 10-24 School Street, will partner with the Insight Meditation Society and Shambhala Publications to bring Sharon Salzberg and three contributors to her book, "Voices of Insight." These teachers of Buddhism will come to share their wisdom, stories and experiences of Insight Meditation. * June 20, 6 p.m.: The Borders in Santa Monica, Calif., 1415 Third St. Promenade, will host Ani Panchen, author of "Sorrow Mountain." The memoir tells of Ani's life as a member of the Tibetan resistance, her long imprisonment and eventual release and flight to Dharamsala, the home-in-exile of the Dalai Lama.
