Brent Bourgeois Releases 1st New Album in 20 Years Artists joining Brent include Todd Rundgren, Julian Lennon, Charlie Peacock, Rachael Lampa, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Chris Rodriguez and many others
ELK GROVE, Calif., June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Brent Bourgeois, co-founder of the 80's group Bourgeois Tagg, is releasing "Don't Look Back," his first new album of original songs in twenty years. Bourgeois, whose Todd Rundgren-produced single "I Don't Mind At All" was an international hit, brings Rundgren onto this record, along with Julian Lennon, his former Bourgeois Tagg bandmates, Charlie Peacock, Rachael Lampa, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Chris Rodriguez, and several A-list mix engineers.
Eschewing traditional marketing or even more current fundraising schemes like Kickstarter, Bourgeois has turned crowd-funding on its head, asking his fans to be the sellers of the record with an idea called Kick-finisher. "Kick-finishers" are rewarded with either a kickback on every record or package they sell, or they can opt to donate that commission to Julian Lennon's White Feather Foundation, which is helping bring safe, clean drinking water to families in need in Africa.
The album will be available exclusively at Bourgeois' website store: www.brentbourgeois.com/store
