PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Bresette + Company, a high performance marketing and consulting team, is working with a truly selfless non-profit organization, Samaritans of Rhode Island Suicide Prevention and Resource Center, to develop a new program, the "Fundraising and Planned Charitable Giving Program," in order to raise money for the organization.

Established on December 12, 1977, the Samaritans of Rhode Island Suicide Prevention and Resource Center is a non-religious, non-profit organization devoted to helping those who are hopeless, alone or suicidal through their volunteer-run programs. Many individuals who have come to the Samaritans feel that the open-mindedness and compassion of the hotline and support group volunteers has been extremely helpful in getting them through tough times. The Samaritans of Rhode Island Suicide Prevention and Resource Center is not, however, a licensed health care agency, and therefore no counseling can happen on the hotline. As requested, callers can be referred to community partners for professional mental health services.

Bresette + Company is currently editing footage from a testimonial video filmed in mid August. The film consists of several heart-breaking stories of surviving family members and friends of suicide victims, and will be shown at their upcoming fundraiser event, and will also be viewable on the organization's website.  All services rendered to the Samaritans of Rhode Island Suicide Prevention and Resource Center are being delivered pro bono, as a way for Bresette + Company to give back to a worthwhile cause that is in desperate need of funds to stay open.

The Samaritans of Rhode Island Suicide Prevention and Resource Center is extremely grateful for the charitable assistance of the Bresette Team, and all are confident that the event will be nothing but successful.
