CHICAGO, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, July 15, 2009, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel will be partnering with the local beer establishment - Half Acre Beer Co. for a tasty night of brews and barbecue.

The event will consist of three Half Acre beers paired with the Chef's house-made barbecue and will cost an admission of $10 per wristband. Guests will be able to tastefully travel through the many regions of the country famous for their barbecue, without ever leaving the Chicago luxury hotel's lobby.

The cuisine for the night will include famous American styles of barbecue - from Texas and the Carolinas to Memphis, Tennessee. Three Half Acre beers will be featured and will include the Half Acre Lager and Daisy Cutter Pale Ale.

Half Acre Beer Co. is a community based brewing company in the Northcenter neighborhood of Chicago. They recently built a new brewery and are working on a store where visitors can tour and purchase their local creations.
