Briggs Subaru Announces Unveiling of the Re-Styled 2013 Subaru Outback

LAWRENCE, Kan., March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Briggs Subaru, the premier Subaru dealer in Lawrence, KS, is pleased to announce that a re-styled 2013 Subaru Outback will be unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. Once it is released by Subaru, the new Outback will join the impressive lineup of Subaru cars in Lawrence, KS at Briggs Subaru.

The 2013 Outback will feature a new BOXER engine that boasts increased power and efficiency numbers. With the new 2.5-liter FB series Boxer engine, the Outback 2.5i model will get up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. It does this while also producing 173 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.

In addition to the power and efficiency numbers, the Outback will also be equipped to run the new EyeSight driver-assist system. This revolutionary system will feature pre-collision braking, and provide pedestrian detection, lane departure and sway warning and adaptive cruise control.

Subaru will also be unveiling the new 2013 Subaru Legacy at the New York International Auto Show, which will run from April 6-15. The Legacy will also feature a new engine package that will increase its performance and efficiency.
