     Dale Earnhardt Jr., who drives the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet in the NASCAR
 NEXTEL Cup Series, joined Budweiser today in announcing that his likeness will
 be displayed on the new "8-pack" packaging.
     Earnhardt Jr. made the announcement today with Anheuser-Busch officials at
 the company's Williamsburg brewery, where the new specialty packaging of
 12-ounce Budweiser cans is packaged.
     Wholesalers and retailers in Charlotte, N.C., Darlington, S.C. and Atlanta
 are offering the "8-packs" while supplies last.  In 2005, the new packages
 will be found in all NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race markets.
     "It's pretty cool that Bud's putting eight beers in a new package.  That's
 two more to share with my buddies," said Earnhardt Jr.  "I look forward to
 chilling at home with the new '8-pack.'"
     "NASCAR fans are going to love this convenient package that's perfect for
 tailgating at the track or hosting a racing party," said Andy Goeler, senior

 Earnhardt Jr.'s rookie season in the then-named NASCAR Winston Cup Series.
 The individual cans featured one of four NASCAR tracks - including Daytona
 International Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, New Hampshire International
 Speedway and Phoenix International Speedway - along with the facility's
 official logo and an Earnhardt Jr.-themed image.
