MILAN, June 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Edo Blocks (www.playedo.com) launches its Kickstarter campaign for its giant cardboard blocks, available in many different kit sizes. Originally created by a father and his son searching for a creative outlet, these blocks are better than others currently available in a market with limited options.
The blocks were carefully engineered and designed for reusable play. A single brick assembled and used correctly can support up to 50 kilos (100 lb.). Edo bricks are available in three sizes and two colors (havana and white), giving an ample range of structural combinations for any project or creation that comes to mind. More colors are planned for the future once Edo is able to hit its stretch goals during the crowdfunding campaign.
While kids as young as two can enjoy playing with Edo, children 10 and up can build the giant blocks with ease. Edo is eco-friendly, made with 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.
Edo kits will start at just $40 (set of 25 blocks) on Kickstarter. You can view the Kickstarter campaign to get more details about the products and see more of what you can create. Estimated delivery of the project is September 2016, a perfect start to the new school year.
About Edo Blocks
Edo was created by Simon Marussi, a computer scientist, inspired by his son Edoardo. Together they were looking for a toy or game that allowed them to build and create new things. Traditional Legos were too small and blocks available on the market were poorly constructed. Simon was inspired to create a quality block that would stimulate play, creativity and reusability, and Edo was born. Soon after, Simon's partner and sister joined him in the development of the idea.
