TORONTO, ON, December 21, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Burntsand Inc. (Burntsand) (TSX:BRT), a North American business consulting and technology services company, announced today the signing of a $576,000US contract to upgrade a client to EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management 6.5 and Captiva InputAccel 6.0. The customer is a large public utility providing electricity.

Burntsand has been engaged over the next eight months to complete the following:

    -   Architect and finalize the design for the upgrade to Documentum 6.5
        and Captiva 6.0 including the infrastructure architecture, records
        management and application development;
    -   Identify process improvements and functional enhancements that will
        leverage the new Documentum 6.5 features and Captiva 6.0 features;
    -   Complete the upgrades, migrations, and enhancements; and
    -   Provide training, technical knowledge transfer and post
        implementation support.
