CA Sole Independent Management Software Vendor in Initiative to Accelerate Cloud Services Adoption

ISLANDIA, N.Y., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA, Inc. (Nasdaq: CA) today announced that it is a founding member of the TM Forum's new ecosystem of major industry players in the emerging cloud services sector. CA will collaborate with other leading cloud service providers, technology suppliers, and enterprise users on a comprehensive program for accelerating cloud services adoption.

Joining CA in the TM Forum cloud initiative are Alcatel-Lucent, Amdocs, AT&T, BT, Cisco, EMC, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Nokia Siemens Networks, Telecom Italia and Telstra. Industry organizations participating in the initiative include DMTF for resource management and itSMF (through itSMF UK) for service delivery. The TM Forum cloud initiative will work with the TM Forum's Enterprise Cloud Buyers Council (ECBC), which includes Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Deutsche Bank, to make it easy for cloud buyers and providers to maximize the value of cloud technologies and architectures.
