Cable&Wireless is announcing a truly global IP trunking solution, which delivers voice traffic over a data network (routed through an 'IP voice traffic' breakout to the public switching telephony network (PSTN)), via soft-switch architecture. The company already offers a fully managed IP telephony solution, where the features and capabilities of a traditional communications solution are provided by IP-enabled equipment. The solution further enables customers to integrate voice and data communication tools -- such as fax, email, messenger and telephone - on to a single converged platform. Cable&Wireless offers inter-operable multi-vendor solutions, flexible pricing options and a choice of management architectures. These solutions are designed to address the specific needs of all enterprises, irrespective of where they stand on their journey towards a converged enterprise-wide communications infrastructure.

Cable&Wireless also offers a complete range of world-class, high- definition videoconferencing solutions. These enable enterprises to optimize their existing investments in traditional video conferencing equipment, as well as seamlessly move to managed solutions, offering high-end tele-presence and desktop video communications solutions, which deliver an experience akin to genuine face-to-face meetings.
