Call for Nominations in Second Annual Small Business Influencer Awards 2012
CLEVELAND, June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Nominations are now being accepted in the second annual Small Business Influencer 2012 awards. Nominations can be made in any of six categories including: apps, news outlets, corporations, journalists, leaders, and small business experts. Nominations remain open through July 15, 2012. Eligible individuals, organizations and companies in North America are welcome to apply. There is no application fee.
Once the nomination period ends, voting by the community – counting for 40% -- will begin July 16 and run through August 5, 2012. After that a panel of expert judges will weigh in – the judges' vote counts for 60%. The top 100 champions will be honored at an Awards Gala hosted in conjunction with the New York XPO Small Business Conference on October 17, 2012 at the Javits Convention Center in New York. In addition the top 5 popular votes getters in the six categories will receive a special Community Choice award. See Official Rules for more information.
