AUSTIN, Texas, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Campus Advantage, a national student housing company, today announced the promotion of Scott Duckett to Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) and Executive Vice President.

As the Chief Business Development Officer, Duckett oversees the Company's business development, market strategy and investor services.  Prior to his promotion, Duckett was senior vice president of professional services.  He joined the company in 2005 as the Director of Business Development.

Duckett earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. and a Master of Science degree in Geography and Urban Planning from Portland State University in Portland, Ore.  In addition, Duckett served two years as a Peace Corps educator in the West Indies.
