Kraynak will be based in Los Angeles and will serve on the executive management team, working closely with founders Katie Warner Johnson and Caroline Gogolak to create and execute the strategy and plans to drive growth and build the Carbon38 brand and business worldwide. The marketing, creative, retail and corporate communications departments will report directly to her.
A business builder, digital pioneer and proven leader, Kraynak has 20 years of experience across both large blue-chip corporations and early-stage companies. Her strong track record of driving growth and innovation includes key roles at high-profile organizations such as NBC Universal, Viacom, iVillage, Intuit, The City of New York and Demand Media, where she launched the company's fashion and beauty vertical. She has vast experience creating new business models and scaling rapidly growing organizations. Notably, she has held leadership roles through two $1.5 billion IPOs to date.
