Caregiving Legacy Award Winners Announced

Three extraordinary programs awarded $20,000 each in 5th year of national competition

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) and The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation are pleased to announce the recipients of the Fifth Annual Rosalinde Gilbert Innovations in Alzheimer's Disease Caregiving Legacy Awards.

The Awards program was established through a grant to FCA's National Center on Caregiving. A distinguished panel of reviewers determined the award-winners from a diverse group of applicants from across the country.

Awards of $20,000 each will be presented to nonprofit organizations to recognize programs that address the needs of Alzheimer's caregivers in three categories:  Creative Expression; Policy & Advocacy; and Diverse/Multicultural Communities.
