Reidy has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Simon & Schuster, Inc., it was announced today by Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS). In her new position, Reidy will oversee all of Simon & Schuster's domestic and international publishing operations. Reidy will assume her new role effective Jan. 1, 2008, upon the retirement of current Simon & Schuster President and CEO Jack Romanos, which was announced separately.
